Therapy can be like weaving the story of your life. Together, we’ll gently loosen the knots of pain and confusion, rediscover the vibrant threads of your strengths, and help you create something more resilient and beautiful.
Therapy style
I believe that healing happens within connection; it’s about creating a space where you feel seen, safe, and empowered to explore your authentic self. And sometimes, that includes a little laughter along the way.
My approach to therapy is deeply rooted in the power of human connection. Growing up with a profound early experience of connection shaped my belief in the transformative nature of relationships, and this belief guides my work with clients. I work to create a therapeutic space that feels real and grounded—one where trust can grow naturally. I see the relationship itself as a powerful force that often sparks real, lasting change.
I believe in therapy that goes beyond simply “talking about problems.” My goal is to help you explore your experiences authentically, understand the patterns that might be holding you back, and ultimately empower you to live more fully. I work collaboratively with clients, combining evidence-based strategies with a warm, engaged presence. I also believe we can laugh in therapy and welcome the messy, unfinished parts of who we are.
My areas of specialization include significant or extreme anxiety, such as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), posttraumatic stress (PTSD), and phobias. I am trained in various exposure therapies, and use these techniques extensively. A couple of these therapies are called Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Prolonged Exposure. I also have a passion for working with the LGBTQ+ community, including transgender and queer individuals. I am committed to providing a safe, affirming, and culturally sensitive space for all my clients.
In our work together, you can expect me to be present, compassionate, and engaged. I value being real, and I try to create a therapy experience that supports your journey toward healing and growth.
