Jennifer Vannell

Jennifer Vannell, MS, LPC

This won’t be the typical therapy where you do all the talking, and I just nod my head. We’re going to work together–50/50–on whatever challenges you are facing.  The goal is to make therapy as easy as possible for you, and I also assume you want deep, lasting change, not just superficial adjustments.

therapy style

Take a large pillow. Now stuff that pillow into a tissue box. How can we do this without damaging the box itself? It’s an impossible task, but that’s what a lot of us have tried to do. The tissue box is us. The pillow is all the “stuff” we learned we had to carry in life. The box struggles to hold all we’ve tucked away. Therapy is the process of exploring that stuff and clearing space for the things we truly want in our lives. We will begin this process where you are. We will go forward as you are ready. We will do this together, opening doors and allowing our work to unfold. It’s my place to support you while you seek relief and a deeper understanding of yourself.

So, where would you like to begin?
